Chilli Chocolate Breakfast Bowl

Created by a great friend Anna Cochrane, who owns THRIVE pilates studio in Wellington and is just as much a nut butter and chocolate addict as I am. 

Ingredients

  • 1 banana (frozen)
  • 1 tsp liquid balance
  • 1 tsp cacao powder
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 100-200ml of milk/water
  • 1 scoop (30g) of vanilla protein powder (optional)

Decoration (optional)

  • Cashews
  • Walnuts
  • Goji berries
  • Chia seeds
  • Raspberries

Method

Probably the easiest thing in the world to whip up... the hardest bit is choosing the toppings!

  1. Grab a blender, soup blender or food processor.
  2. Chuck everything in.
  3. Blitz and blend.
  4. Pour into your favourite bowl and decorate.
